Queer Resilience and Wellbeing in the Workplace

There is one topic that we don’t talk about enough during Pride Month: resilience. As anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric continues in 2024, community care, collectivism and resilience are becoming more essential for the LGBTQIA+ community. This panel conversation is focused on mental health and building resilience internally as queer/trans folks, and how to support queer and trans people in the workplace that avoids disempowering LGBTQIA+ folks.

The panel:
  • Taj M. Smith (he/him), Training & Outreach Coordinator at TACT (Trans Advocacy & Care Team)
  • Andrew Borden (any pronouns), Queer Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Martin Gonzalez de la Vega (he/him), Manager, Diversity & Inclusion at Yahoo!
  • Mira Shane DEIB Program Manager at Justworks

Hosted by: Ryan Letts, Facilitator and Consultant, ReadySet

Recorded: Jun 27, 2024 | 10-11am PT
